Sling TV is the first video streaming service in the United States to offer a collection of popular channels including ESPN for a reasonable price of $20 a month. The service launched after it’s unveiling at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on January 5 , 2015. Sling TV has gone through some growing pains with widespread outages during the NCAA Final Four and season premiere of Games of Thrones. Even so I’m a fan of Sling TV and believe the service will continue to grow as they add more channels and bundles. Sling TV launched with their “Best of Live TV” package and have since added several more channels and bundles to the lineup. The base package costs $20 a month with additional packages ranging from $5 to $15 a month based on the included programming.
