Watch the Brazilian Grand Prix with SmartDNS

This weekend marks the 19th round of the Formula 1 World Championship as the drivers take on the Autódromo José Carlos Pace in São Paulo, Brazil.  Watch as your favorite Formula 1 drivers compete.  Practice starts on Friday with qualifying taking place on Saturday.  The race will start at 11:00 AM EST Sunday on CNBC with an encore showing at 1:00 PM on NBC.

Brazilian Grand Prix

This year’s Brazilian Grand Prix will be covered by media worldwide.  If you currently live or are traveling outside of the US and UK the easiest way to watch the race is to sign up for one of the Smart DNS services listed below and enjoy the BBC coverage.  Smart DNS will open up access to BBC iPlayer regardless of what country you happen to be in at the time.

The NBC Sports Network will cover most of Friday’s Brazilian Grand Prix practice runs.  They will start coverage at 7:00 AM EST on Friday, November 7th with a second round of practice at 11:00 AM EST.  Saturday’s qualifying will be on CNBC beginning at 11:00 PM EST with an encore on NBCSN at 12:30 PM EST.  The F1 Countdown will be on CNBC before Sunday’s race.  Coverage starts at 10:30 AM EST and the race will start at 11:00.

NBC Sports Live Extra will be offering the Brazilian Grand Prix events live online.  You will need a US cable of satellite subscription to access the coverage.  That’s a challenge for those traveling outside the US.  Even if you subscribe to DirecTV, Comcast, etc. you can still have trouble streaming live events outside the US.  Smart DNS will help tackle that problem.

A good Smart DNS service will help you unblock geographic restrictions.  Whether you’re on vacation in Mexico or in Germany for business using Smart DNS will help you enjoy the comforts of home.  If you live abroad Smart DNS can help you access popular services in countries like the US (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Instant, etc.) and UK (BBC iPlayer, Sky Go, etc.).  You will still need to sign up for paid services like Netflix and Hulu Plus.

Best Smart DNS to Watch the Brazilian Grand Prix

We’ll make sure you have a few options to choose from.  When it comes to live events you want to make sure the SmartDNS can unblock whichever channel you plan to watch.  The last thing you want to do is get ready to watch the race and be disappointed.  Visiting a site only to be greeted by a restricted access message is never fun but it’s especially agrivating when you’re trying to watch a live event.  Here are some services that are up to the task.

The Smart DNS providers listed above offer free trial accounts.  None of them require payment information to test the service.  They understand you need time to test.  You simply enter in your email address and use the service free of charge.  The free trial will give you plenty of time to watch the Brazilian Grand Prix and enjoy other channels.

Unblock-Us

I’ve been very happy using Unblock-Us for live events. It’s very easy to set up and has always been reliable.  The site includes a full list of channels and supported devices.  Unblock-Us was one of the first Smart DNS services and has built a great reputation.  They have a large customer base which has allowed them to continue expanding the service.  They have excellent technical support if you ever need assistance.

For those who want the privacy protection of a VPN I would suggest OverPlay.  They offer both VPN and Smart DNS.  You won’t need a VPN to unblock content in other countries.  It will do that but it’s overkill if you’re just using it to unblock geo restrictions.  Some content providers like Hulu work hard to block VPN’s from accessing their content.  A VPN is a good choice for those who want extra privacy protection.  You can visit our VPN Fan site to compare all your options.
